バクマン。で学ぶ英会話　第7回

最近、DUO3.0漬けを作っていてバクマンを読めてなかったので久しぶりに。

「バクマン。で学ぶ英会話」とは、英語しか使えない世界のバクマン。にシュージンとして転生してしまった場合に備えて、シュージンのセリフを勉強していく英会話である。

前回、真城の叔父が描いたマンガが好きだアピールをしたので、後はもうひと押しするだけだ。それでサイコーはマンガ家になると決心するだろう。

具体的には、才能を生かさないのはもったいない的な話をしてチームを組むという目的を達成するための下準備である。

Mashiro: At any rate, I’m not going to do it. If that’s your condition, then you can keep my notebook. See ya, thief.

Mashiro：とにかく、私はそれをやろうとはしません。それがあなたの状態なら、あなたは私のノートを保管することができます。じゃあな、泥棒。

Takagi: Hey, wait. Are you thinking about putting your drawing skills to use in the future?

高木：ねえ、待ってください。あなたの描画スキルを将来使用することを考えていますか？

Mashiro: Not at all.

Mashiro：まったくありません。

Takagi: That’s a total waste of talent. You’ve still got seven years of school left, so it’s worth a try, isn’t it? Sure, it may be a gamble. But if you don’t even buy the lottery ticket, how can you ever win? It’s the same with manga. If you don’t even draw the manga, how will you know if it’ll be a hit or miss? Between winning the lottery or becoming a manga artist, which do you think has a better chance?

Takagi: I know. I write my book reports after figuring out what the judges want to see. So all I have to do now is figure out what the publishers and readers want.
